4-H club secretaries use this form to submit a monthly report about the club's project work, activities, and financial status. The report must be signed by the club secretary and the club leader. It is due to the 4-H office by the 10th of the month immediately following the club's monthly business meeting.
The 4-H program in Fulton & Montgomery Counties holds a major fundraiser annually, mid-winter/early spring. Some 4-H clubs find it necessary to hold an additional fundraiser during the year. Clubs are required to follow the local Fundraising Policy.
Clubs must have a clear need for funds and must conduct a proper vote within a regular business meeting to make fundraising decisions. Further, clubs are required to submit a "Request to Raise Funds in the Name of 4-H" application.
Applications are due in the 4-H office not less than 30 days prior to the proposed fundraiser.

During the 4-H year 4-H clubs strive to meet benchmarks in their progress. Clubs that have met all of the required benchmarks may apply for a 4-H Seal of Achievement, which may be placed on their 4-H Club Charter.

If you have never participated in 4-H Public Presentations before, only given one presentation before or need a little help to find a topic and get started, then this workshop would be for you! It’s never too early to start thinking about which topic you would enjoy talking about and what kind of presentation that you would like to give at this year’s 4-H Public Presentation Night on March 23rd. This informative and fun workshop is for both Cloverbud and regular 4-H members. The workshop will feature some tips about selecting a topic and creating a poster and/or visual aids. Youth participants will also learn the parts of a presentation and how to organize his/her thoughts. Each participant will gain some practice in speaking in front of others. There need to be at least 5 youth registered for the workshop, or it will be cancelled. To attend please RSVP to the 4-H Office by Tuesday, February 13th

To become a new 4-H club in NYS, the club must apply for and be granted a 4-H Club Charter. The charter should be kept in a safe place for the life of the club. Many clubs frame their charter and hang it proudly at club meetings and public club events.
