BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. — Horse lovers, mark your calendars for the 26th Annual Saratoga Horse Symposium on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 10:00AM- 4:00PM. This exciting educational event is a celebration of the horse for new, aspiring and experienced horse owners where attendees have the unique opportunity to interact with horses, equine veterinarians, and presenters alike.
The 2017 Saratoga Horse Symposium, hosted by CCE Equine — a division of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County — will feature well-known equine experts and veterinarians, along with live horse demonstrations and educational presentations. Topics will focus on Lyme disease, acupuncture, saddle fitting, training techniques, and more. Horse enthusiasts from across New York State and New England look forward to this popular annual event.
In addition to the Symposium’s presentations and demonstrations, there will be a Silent Auction offering a great selection of goods and services donated by many local businesses. All proceeds from this annual fundraiser directly benefit educational equine programming and the 4-H Training Center.
Doors will open at 9:30am for registration; classes will begin at 10:00am. Registration is $15 for adults and $5 for 4-H youth. Food will be available for purchase on the grounds. The event will be held at the Saratoga County 4-H Training Center, 556 Middle Line Road, Ballston Spa, NY.
