Dairy Discovery Workshop

Dairy Discovery is an opportunity for dairy interested youth of various knowledge levels to come together and learn about many aspects of dairy business and production management. Having a general understanding of nutrition, reproduction, milking procedures, animal health, housing, and financial management is important for operating or owning a dairy business and preparation for dairy careers. Along with having an understanding of these areas, it is important to apply the learning to the real world of a working dairy business.
Youth must be 14-18 years of age as of January 1, 2019
Registration is $50 per youth, $15 per adult chaperone

Registration and payment are due to the 4-H Office by March 7th

4-H is the largest out of school youth organization in the United States with over 6 million youth members.

In the 2008-2009 program year, 7,523 young people ages 5-19 participated in 4-H programs in Fulton and Montgomery Counties with more than 200 volunteers contributing more than 42,000 hours in nurturing, caring relationships with youth.

A friendly reminder that the CCEFM office, including the 4-H office, is closed to the public on Fridays .The office is open Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
