The 4-H programs from Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Schoharie-Otsego & Fulton-Montgomery are once again offering a vegetable marketing project to 4-H youth in our region. Due to multiple changes to their corporation and the needs of our program, we have decided to part ways with the Golub Corporation and recreate the program in 2018.

4-H Public Presentation Workshop

Montgomery County Annex If you have never participated in 4-H Public Presentations before, only given one presentation before or need a little help to find a topic and get started, then this workshop would be for you! It’s never too early to start thinking about which topic you would enjoy talking about and what kind of presentation that you would like to give at this year’s 4-H Public Presentation Night on March 23rd. This informative and fun workshop is for both Cloverbud and regular 4-H members. The workshop will feature some tips about selecting a topic and creating a poster and/or visual aids. Youth participants will also learn the parts of a presentation and how to organize his/her thoughts. Each participant will gain some practice in speaking in front of others. There need to be at least 5 youth registered for the workshop, or it will be cancelled. 4-H Teen Council
Posted 5/24/2017 Who: Fulton-Montgomery 4-H Teens. All youth, 13 & older (as of January 1st) are encouraged to attend. Bring your ideas and enthusiasm! When: Wednesday, May 24th @ 6:00 - 8:00pm Where: Montgomery County Annex, Room 111 What: A county level 4-H leadership group for teen 4-H members. Its prupose is to help teen 4-Her's develop leadership skills, while helping to build a strong bi-county 4-H program that benefits all members and volunteers in our counties. Come join us for an evening of fun, including: icebreakers, team building games, pizza, brainstorming ideas and setting goals for the teen council. Matt Gogis and Haleigh Dutcher are the Adult advisors.
